[ As Amperbräu Amperzwickl ].
ABV: 4.9%. [ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear medium amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, grain, caramel, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, bread, caramelized malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211106]

330 ml bottle. Cloudy amber, foamy head. Caramel, malt, pineapple, light citrus, dark bread. Mild dry bitterness, light malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, light dry malty finish. This is basically their Amperrauschen, but unfiltered. Not great, liked the filtered version more.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Freising (the one on the trading estate en route to München und Airport) It's in the regional section. Consumed at home listening to D.D. Dumbo - Utopia Defeated an album from 2016 (heaven knows where we got this from, it sounds too much like Sting for my liking) and preparing Beef Szechuan, Friday 5th April 2019. Pours light amber (hazy) with an off white head, nice soft carbonation. In the mouth it starts with a suggestion of a fruity caramel combination and does have a light toffee and light bitter edge. It's fine but not really rocking it for me.
