Bottle at Base Camp. Lovely clear coppery body, off-white head. Big cookie-cake maltiness, with caramel, bit fruity. Smooth, sweetish but fairly lean malty taste, cookie dough, vague hop bitterish touch. This is pretty good stuff I reckon, kinda lost itself in the finish, but otherwise a tasty specialty malt showcase!

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours clear deep copper with a thick, handsome off - white head. The aroma is earthy, nutty, woody, slightly dusty, brown bread, rivita, malt loaf and dull caramel. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, nutty, brown bread, rivita, earth, brown bread, light toasted spice and wood with a drying, woody finish. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Decent malt - driven lagerbier.

Bottle from the Elsfleth HolAb and opened fittingly on the night of Peggy’s arrival in Hessen. Deep amber with a creamy, off-white head. Caramel aroma, and a touch herbal. Taste is moderate bitter the whole way through. Finishes the same and a bit grainy. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Simple. Not unpleasant

Solide.

Bottle from a local getränkemarket. Looks good. Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Starts fine malty, spicy, some wheaty notes as well. Background with some metallical notes. Finish a bit boring malty. Okay.
