Bouteille 75cl partagée avec Isaac, Sergi, Costa, Bernat, Tavo, Iñaki, Nacho, Trota - El Birrot & Basque region friends mega tasting. Merci!
Anno 2025.

750cl bottle. really really nice aroma, brown sugar, malts, faint sweet bourbon notes, also more fruity notes like port wine, well blended aroma, very very good. alc. well hidden. complex, not aggressive, i think great sipper quality, but we'll see when i taste it.
flavor is sweet malts and bourbon, licorice, coconut, faint oak. very malty sweet, but it is partly hidden behind a lot of bourbon flavors. end is warming and malty sweet. quite complex, not as crazy good as aroma though.
Amazing how well alc. is hidden and not it the way - just adds body.

2019 bottle at LC member party, 1/17/25.
Dark mahogany. Clear. Little head.
Nutty almost with coffee, chocolate, almond and oak. Not sure where those notes come from ...warming spirit, leading to longer caramel on the end.
Sweet, malty, rich and full of toffee and caramel, drying out a good deal on the warm, bourbon soaked finish. Rich and curly with lots of oak and spice.

Bottle shared in Watford - many thanks to Cloin. Pours deep brown with a fine, creamy beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour, nice brown sugar notes, dates, figs, some bourbon and caramel. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth to finish. Delicious.
