Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Barnes Courtenay. Pours dirty brown with no head, still with a big boozy kick. It's fine but preferred the previous one from Tölzer, apologies it's a very lazy review Score 6.4

Bottle, batch 01/2021, BB 31.12.2025. Cloudy brown, offwhite head. Soapy aroma, oxidation, old wood, nutty, mellow flattened grain finish. Definitely did not keep up - we had ikder things at the tasting which tasted fresher.

0.33l bottle, huge thanks Jonas for sharing at Mangled Ham 2026 with us! Murky pale brown body, traces of an off-white head. Heavily oxidized aroma, Vegemite. Lean, dry taste, some vanilla, citrus fruit, low wood, bitterness, dried fruit, heavily minerally, the oxidation not as rough in the aroma, but still there. Funnily enough, this is a month and a half past its BB date, and the beer from 2016 we had just before it was way less oxidized, kept in the same conditions. Oh well.

Bottle picked up by Jacob in Vienna and shared with him at home. Brown with a creamy, off-white head that lingers. Aroma of oak, vanilla, whiskey—and lots of toffee. Taste is sweet with bourbon, apples, raisins and caramel at the finish. Amazing depth. Thick and rich and whiskey warm, although the alcohol stays subdued. Very nice!
