375mL bottle, best before Jan 21, 2031, drunk 7/12/22. Clear, tangerine-tinged golden with a small, white head of low retention. Beautiful nose shows light plum flesh/skin, moderate Brett and light honey-like malt without too much in the way of overt funkiness. Some musty cellar on the end, but lots of fruit and malt keep it cleaner than average for a lambic. Soft and malty with generous fruit acidity and moderate brett expression. Malt sugars and bacterial acidity are still a bit raw/aggressive and the beer hasnt had enough time to homogenize - coming off a bit punchy and the sugars being too strong, leading to too much lactic character and biting fruit acid on the end. That said, these are actually minor quibbles and I've no doubt the beer will come together beautifully in a few more years.

Bottle. Very cloudy orange with a small white head that's soon at the rim. Aroma of old lemony funk with plums and some almonds a fair way underneath. Quite a bit of body. Not far off still. Soft mellow plums, intensely sour lambic. Brackenish Brett at the end. Opens up as it warms to 14C or so.
