750mL bottle at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky blonde with a white head. Musty old furniture and leather on the nose. Flavour has mildewy old upholstery, some dusty old wood, leather. Damn good.

Fulminating head, collapsing over almost clear metallic orange-golden beer. Sulphur, putteke , horseblanket, immortelles, leather, farmyard with (dry) flowers. Delicate acidity, lactic, and again a leathery streak, fruity esters, horseblanket. White grapes, lime, lemon but also Linden. Lipsmacking acidity - despite being mals ; light acidthinning and -burn. Superb gueuze - Horal Megablend series is indeed something absolutely praiseworthy. Txs to Stef!

Bottle @ office. Exploding gusher. Slightly unclear golden body under a short lived white head. Aroma is mild funk, barnyard, acidity, bread, some malt and hint of toffee. Taste is sweet malt and some toffee with ripe fruit, lemon acidity, wood, funk and hay. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Decent but not really with the complexity as expected. Not very funky, quite sweet for a geuze.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A gusher, producing a short lived off-white head and a mostly clear pale golden colored body. Funky aroma with barnyard, leather, lemon, and a touch of bready pale malts. It's tart on the palate, yet sweetish, with a good carbonation. Lemon, barnyard, leather and funk in the flavor, some sweetness. Lasting funky and lightly sweet but acidic finish. Nice, nothing more. 241107

Gold color, nice head for a sour. Sour crunchy nose, very nice mouthfeel with champagne bubbles. Lightly fruity apple note. Very complex flavor, not too sour in comparison to expectation, still nice body. Really fantastic.

750mL bottle drunk 9/29/23. Clear golden-peach. Well carbonated. Some medicine and pixie stick. Lots of Brett and cheesey lactic. Rich wheat. Soft juicy malty, soft chewy wheat. Tons of cheesy lactic character with easygoing, fruity Brett. Gentle as is this blend.
