Brown pour. Caramel, toasted nuts, chewy chocolate, a bit of earth, and a touch of molasses. Medium to full body. Finish has a bit of that molasses twang. Nice bock.

Bottle. A rather murky brown but with a lovely dense inch of off white head. Aroma of brown bread, brown sugar, hints of dried and stewed fruit, spices. Fairly sweet with a dull texture. Modest nagging bitterness. OK but not really my thing.

Bottle from an expired 6 pack my wife picked up. Should be ok as it's a Bock and only a few months out... Let's see! Nice dark brown, sudsy foam, clean malty nose with warm brown sugar cookie notes. Flavor is nutty, biscuity, medium body with some sweetness and just a touch of hop bitterness. Smooth and delicious! No harm from being out of date, I guess.

500 ml bottle. Murky brown, creamy head. Nuts, caramel, dried fruits and raisins, some citrus, gingerbread. Some malty sweetness but overall rather dry and slightly bitter. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry malty finish. A rather smooth and very drinkable Bock. Good!
