Bottle. Gold. Butter and booze. Taste is rather flat and sweet, with a sticky cold butter aftertaste. Nearly no carbonation.

Hazy amber. Aroma is khaki, honey, grass, complex hop flavours, some dough. Taste is chewy grainy malt with some apple. Sweet and slight sour. A little bit watery but... Nice.

Bottle. Deep golden, off-white head. Doughy sweet aroma, a few higher alcohols, green apple. Medium body, chewy, hay and grain, big grassy, apple and flowery counterpoint, very nice.

0.5 bottle. First off: the label is a bit tacky. Light copper with a fine head, disappearing fast. Cookie dough aroma, very unique. Tasty effervescent flavor with a nice bitterness.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is khakhi, lightly grassy, earthy hops, crackery malts, quite applecakey. Taste is pale malts, lightly grassy, again quite the crackery malt base, never forgets its upper bavarian roots. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite a pleasant surprise!

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Deep malty aroma with notes of bread, crackers and a whiff of caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Mildly bready malty taste with hints of caramel and slightly hoppy spice in the background, leading into the sweet-bitter and quite lasting finish. Not as exchangeable as many other Festbeers. 26.V.18
