Low Key is the first Micro IPA from LERVIG. Generously hopped with Enigma, Ekuanot and Mosaic, it’s bursting with all the bright, juicy, tropical character of our IPAs. And with a remarkable body and mouthfeel (thanks in part to thick dose of oats), you’ll hardly believe it clocks in at a very sensible 2.2% ABV. For a low alcohol beer, it compromises nothing one taste, and is an absolutely perfect beer to pair with having stuff to do early the next morning. Low Key confirms the age-old adage: great things come in small ABVs.

Tap @ Lervig Local. Unclear yellow body under a nice white head. Fresh and fruity aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is light and refreshing as well with grapefruit, mild lemon almost like sweetened lemonade and some zesty bitterness. Medium to light bodied and a bit short in aftertaste. Nice and refreshing like a drink to be enjoyed a warm summer day, otherwise a bit plain and one-dimensional. Decent low alcohol alterative.

330ml can bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Loose white head to a hazy pale yellow body, poor lacing. Moderate aroma of grass and lemony hops. Blend of lemon and pale malty flavours. Short ending with ripe citrus. Thin bodied. Okay thirst quencher. (Tromsø 25.08.2021).

Can. An unclear, yet partially see-through, pale yellow colored beer with small white head. The aroma has mostly hoppy scents, pine cones, grapefruit, some orange zest and a touch of grass, with some pale malts notes in the far back. It's thin to medium bodied, softly carbonated, a bit soft perhaps, and quite dry, with a pleasant bitterness. Pine cones, grapefruit, pineapple, some lemon and grass, and a faint touch of orange and bready pale malts. Lasting piney, grapefruity and bitter finish with a nice touch of pale malts. A quite delicious low ABV IPA style beer. 210809

8/VII/21 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 31/XII/21 (2021-597)

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: wow, amazing stuff, super dank hops, juicy, fruity, tropical fruits, some citrus, lychee, lovely stuff! MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: quite some citrus, grapefruit, bitter hops, pretty piny, a bit resinous, slightly metallic. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, grapefruit, citrus, some pineapple, bit grassy, nice fruity notes, pretty good for a 2.2% alcohol beer!! Well done!
