Bottle picked up from Getrankemarkt in Waldkirchen and consumed at home Saturday 8th June 2024 sat at the top of garden after a couple of hours gardening. Pours hazy warm yellow gold with a large white head, a little fruity and with a tang. The wheatiness is there but in terms of usual wheat beer characteristics and when compared to the Weihenstephan Hefe Weiße that Loz is drinking this is found wanting somewhat, not bad, but in a crowded wheat beer market it's hovering between relegation and mid table mediocrity.

Bottle. As Apostelbräu Hauzenberger Granit Weiße. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, subtle yeasty, hints of banana. Taste: Malty, wheat, grainy. Yeasty notes. Hints of banana and herbal hints. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. A Weizen with a touch of Helles, in my opinion. Ok.

Golden color with a fine white head. Looks ok. Ok intensity in the aroma. But far from exciting. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Malty, herbal/grassy, grain and mild fruity. Not really something to write home about.
