(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 Feb 2019) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with green grapes, apples and gooseberries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of apples, green grapes, craft cider and a fruity tartness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh, but a bit different. Tart, but lacking some cellar and cobweb character. Still, nice one.

2016 bottle at La Tana. Surprisingly clear golden color with white head. Aroma is slightly buttery, white grapes, summer white wine. Taste is white grapes, light leather, starfruit. Oily mouthfeel, almost flat carbonation. Well-balanced, interesting, and certainly tasty, but nothing like a Belgian Geuze. This seems more like an Oude Lambiek blend.

Flavour is composed of tangy, woody green apple, granny smith, musty white grape, spicy sour, raw grains. Palate is tanngy, musty, lowish moderate carboantion. Quite unusual.

Bottle big thanks to LKS. It pours hazy golden with a small white head The aroma is sweet, apple, funk, cider, must, wood, earth, ripe, sharp and some lemon sherbet. The taste is dry, crisp, tart, lactic, Granny Smith apple, red apple, sugary, pickled onion, plum and some spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit harsh in areas. Fair.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in Roma. Vintage 2016. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some sweat, ripe lemons, white wine vinegar. Light sweet flavour, plenty of salty sweat, more white wine vinegar, a little apple, lemon. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Moderate acidity in the finish, some tangy apples, more salty sweat, mild pale woody dryness. Interesting, if a bit odd.

Draft at Lambiczoon. Aroma of tart, vanilla, horseblanket, brett and oak. Rich flavor of soft vanilla, oak, horseblanket, brett, funky barnyard and a dry bretty finish. Really nice, the Italians can make this stuff too!
