Little cloudy light yellow to beige beer, big creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of overripe banana, some cloves, smells like hefeweizen, sweet impression, some tropical bubble gum, a little spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, lots and lots of bubble gum, some banana, soft acidity, cloves, a bit sweet as well, gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: banana, banana peel, pretty bitter, a bit grassy, lots and lots of bubble gum, decent hefeweizen, but not an IPA or a white IPA…

Can from Beerdome, drunk with a risotto. Yellow hazy, decent head, slightly funky bananas-malt nose. Decent hint of pineapple. Quite creamy mouthfeel, some caramel, hint of pine, just a bit of funkiness on the tail end maybe from a weird hop combination.

Can. Milky green-yellow, offwhite head. Murky meaty salt almond flour lime citrus nose, chalky wheat. Medium body, mellow body. Citrus, sweet chalky vanilla. a bit meh overall.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is cheesecake, vanilla, mildly grassy, could be more expressive. Taste is the same, a bit funky, foamy carbonation, pretty nice, but could be a better general experience.

Hazy pale blond colour with thin head. Aroma has a weird element of Pot Pourri. Thay carries through to a floral and spicy flavour. Beyond that it's a sweet Witbier.

33cl can. A hazy yellow golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of wheat malt, banana and citrus hops. Taste of citrus hops, hay, wheat malt, banana and yeast. Good!

33cl blik van De Laat. Troebel gele kleur, witte kraag. Banaan, tarwe, wat citroenrasp, verbena, licht grassig en licht hoppig. Romig, medium body. Meer een hoppige Weizen dan White IPA. Smaakvol.

21 June 2021. At Jopenkerk, Haarlem. Shared with the lovely Anke. Tap. Hazy yellow, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of nutmeg, raw sorrel ('zurkel') and quite a lot of it, potato, celery, vague banana, apple. Taste has sweetish potato & apple, spicy nutmeg & pepper, soft wheaty-bready maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, peppery, yellow fruits and potato again. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Really odd, nice though with the unintentional sorrel (grandma's favourite!). Style does not compute.
