This series of herbal beers is dedicated to the seasons. Each beer stands for a particular season, so you can drink your way through the year. We used rosemary from our family garden, which lend the beer its herbaceous and woody aroma. This blend is matured on average 10 month in red wine barrels.

Bottle. Herbal aroma with rosemary, clove, citrus. Pretty herbal. Moderate sour and tart. Body is medium. Herbal, but interesting. Pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Cloudy copper, offwhite head. Fruity, pine, juniper nose. Medium body, tart, vinegar acidic, funky herbs, perfumed rosemary retronasal. Slightly too tart initially, mellows out with a bit of air.

Bottle. Cloudy amber. Rosemary herbal nose, with some acidic tomato. Sparkly bitter hoppy in the beginning, and then there comes a warm slow wave of tea and earthy herbal and some sweetness, like from candy pieces in grey tea. Interesting - in a good way. Very calm, grounded. Yes, this is winter.

Bottle at the Christmas tasting. Hazy light brown, small head. Slightly herbal/winter foresty smelling nose. Tastes a bit sprucey if I must say so, nice smooth sour.

Bottle courtesy of Ursula, tasted with the München Ratebeer Group Christmas Tasting Friday 2nd December 2022. This looks like a barley wine in appearance, however it's super funky and tart, dry funky and zappy with a hint of winter (spice perhaps) very good.

Bottled. Hazy dark amber body, off-white head. Spicy aroma, rosemary and funk, orange, lovely, some maltiness. Lean, soft, fruity, peachy, sour, maybe light rosemary, but really interesting, the barrel gave it a lovely fruitiness really, some funk, minerally notes. Just works! Not a gruit tho. Definitely went from 3.9 to 4 in the morning as it mellowed out.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is rosemary, red winey indeed, good barrel funk. Taste is rosemary, vineous, good balance. Oily mouthfeel, sparkly carbonation. Good!
