Bottle from Brew Cavern. It pours lightly hazy orange with a decent white head. The aroma is pleasing smoke, smoked cheese, bonfire, farmhouse loaf, doughy and biscuit. The taste is dry, quite crisp, snappy, bitter - sweet, white bread, doughy, cracker, biscuit, some spice, smooth smoke, smoked cheese, bonfire, grass and grain with a dry finish with a small puff of smoke. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fun stuff. Think it works well.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madnesses. Clear deep golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cereal, smoked malt and light cheddar. Flavour of lightly smoked malt and a light bitterness on the finish. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Another great lager from Braybrooke.
