For Vintage Ale 2018 we’ve stayed close to home; all of our ingredients have been sourced from the UK. Tropical, citrus and apricot flavours take centre stage, delivered by Ernest and Olicana hops. Pale ale malt from the finest Maris Otter barley combines with Crystal malt to give the beer a rich biscuit sweetness. As with every Vintage Ale, the flavours of this beer will develop for many years to come, like a fine wine or whisky

Bottle from superalko. Pours dark amber-copper. Aroma and flavor are sweet, malt, fruits, caramel, feels somewhat watery. Overall: very good.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dark orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out toasted caramel, bready notes, and English malt. Flavour is similar, with bready malt, caramel and English toasted notes. Bready and malty. Solid.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May '19. Thanks Paolo for bringing this. Pours amber with an off-white cream collar. Maltcake on the nose. Taste is super smooth, good malty caramel, raisins, fruitcake.. some passionfruit and vanilla notes bizarrely. Yep, good English old ale that's just as good fresh.

26th May 2019, Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Four other guys to share with. Cheers Paolo for this 500ml offering: BBE 2028. I like Fuller's Vintage Ales and this one didn't disappoint at all. An off-white crown on an amber body, it looked good. Aroma and taste had a caramel like malty front, the semi-sweet beer had a decent hop balance and a mild fruity finish. Good.

Lys brun med lavt beige skum. Lukter lett bitter brent karamell, noe kaffe og tørket frukt. Middels fylde. Noe søtlig karamell, stenfrukt og svisker. Middels lang.

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours amber copper with a small creamy head. Sweet caramel, toffee, vague citrus, nuts and bread. Chewy malty and full bodied. Excellent.

Bottle 2018 #134336, 8.5%. Clear dark amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, dark fruit and oak. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, caramel, sweet, oak, bread, toasted, medium sweet, little dry and medium bitter.
