12 oz. can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts, light straw, and corn. Flavour is lightly sweet, with cereal malts, corn, straw and biscuity malt. Nicely constructed and much better than the average for the style. Solid.

My daughter had two pints of this on 14th Jan 2018 at the Stones Brewery in Escondido, so I had a few swigs of each one to help her out (I think I had between a half to three quarters of a pint overall). Came a misty amber colour, white crown that hung around for a while. Corn aroma and taste, fairly sweet. Ideal drink to have while sat in the brewery gardens awaiting your call to the table.

Can shared by Jack, thanks! Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with a bit of grass and sweetness underlying. Flavor has sweet grains and hay with some grass in the finish.

Hazy copper. Bready malt, light sweetness, toast, light zesty hops. Medium bodied. Nice.

Black can. Hazy, slightly off pale eye. Nose is sweeter candy and near cloying. Taste is somewhat aged can lager, you know, something like a can of that higher gravity american pale lager after it sat on the shelf for a while. Some good co2 makes it palatable. Mouth is not as sweet as nose would indicate. Fairly well behaved for a vienna. Not bad but nothing near Heineken Dark Lager, Shiner Bock, Brick Waterloo Dark, Michelob AmberBock or even Pittsburgh Augustiner Dark considering the flavor and enjoyability. BTW, not sure why its a mexican lager, has very little in common with those. In the end I'm getting a little used to it.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 8/24/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy/toasted earthiness. Minimal herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very good Vienna lager. All around nice complexity and robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Clean and nicely rich Vienna malt flavors; with mild hop balance. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

12 ounce can. Bright amber orange color. Frothy beige head with clinging lace. Grainy malt aroma has notes of sweet corn and honey. Crisp malty flavor. Notes of corn and hay. Slight herbal hop finish. Interesting departure by AleSmith. Very drinkable.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017 - London. Pours clear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Pretty classic light lager, with nice pale cereal notes, biscuits, a little bitter hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly crisp in the finish, with more simple pale bread, biscuits, straw. Nice one.
