Bottle at home, courtesy of Beerhunter111, I believe. Pours opaque golden with a white head and it caught me off-guard to be honest, I was expecting a dunkler bock, haha. Nose is hay, honey ans booze, slightly oxidized. Taste is honey, pale malts, bread, light booze. Abruptly ending, sweet and warming finish, medium body, soft carbonation.

clear golden colour, moderate sized creamy ivory-like white head; aroma of grainy, hay, some grassy and minimal herbal notes; taste has the same notes with some hoppy bittery and spicy alcoholic notes; not really sophisticated and definitely does not have the body for its ABV; quite disappointing one

0.33 l bottle from 'AleHub', best before October 2022. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit floral aroma of grains, some apple and a touch of straw. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit grassy taste of grains, some vanilla, light honey and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally metallic finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid pale Doppelbock, quite pleasant, not too shabby.

Waldhaus Doppel Bock, Edition 2019, Fläschchen von Ambrosetti, Berlin. - Dunkel goldgelb, klar. Sehr angenehm. (30.1.2020.)

Bottle from Bartlebier, thanks! Blonde. peach and floral notes in the aroma. malty sweet, alcoholic flavor with floral notyes and plums. Almost sugary. Onedimensional doppelbock, that doesn’t impress.
