750ml bottle. Cloudy orange pour, with a large white head. Fuunky aroma, lactic sourness, tart tropical fruit, guava and melon. Mouth feel. Is goos, carb is on the softer side. Finish is sour, very funky, the guava comes up big time, bright tropical fruit and sweet melon.

Draft @ MBCC 2018. Pours a yellow golden color with w white head. Has a fruity sour woody tropical aroma. Fruity sour tart woody tropical fruit flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody finish.

Keg at MBCC 2018 from backlog. Pours light hazed yellow with a white head. Aroma: malt, yeast, grapes, citrus, grapefruit. Taste: light acidic, malt, yeast, light brett, oak, grapes, grapefruit. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose reveals plenty of guava upfront, along with wild yeast, and rustic notes. Flavour is fairly acidic, with lots of tart guava, quite a bit of juiciness, some mixed bugs, and musty earthiness. The fruit is pungent but there's a bit too much acidity for my taste. Not all that complex, but it's integrated decently. Pleasant but not at the level of some other Assemblages.

On tap at MBCC Blue Session. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head. The aroma is funk, citrus, floral. Thin body, citrus, yeast, light dry finish, very good.

This weekend is the Dunham fall bottle release in Quebec so I thought it’d be a good excuse to crack open this bottle I got on sale at the LCBO last summer: Dunham Jane Doe #8 5.5% Opaque apricot orange in color with a rich apricot/plum aroma with tannic oak notes and acidic tartness. Medium bodied and oh so tart with lots of apricot, peach and stone fruit. Mouth puckeringly good.

Bottle: Poured an orangey/amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some light oak with some light fruity guava notes also perceptible. Taste is a nice tart mix with some oak notes, some funky yeast notes with some fruity guava providing extra complexity. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid blend with good drinkability and some good level of complexity as well.
