Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a rich and frothy, white head. Banana nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, some banana but the heavy phenols soon take over leaving a very chemical affair. 180723

Bottle online from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white cap. Aroma: sweet grains, bread, light caramel, citrus fruit hints, light spices. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, light caramel, bread, some yeast esters. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation. Good one.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Label says 5% abv. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a medium sized fluffy white head.Aroma is not typical for a Hefe with citrusy notes and also some nuts detected. I’m not getting the usual banana notes. Taste again has a little more citrus and more nutty notes coming through with a little amount of peppery spice. Medium to full body, low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Very unusual Hefe. Not bad but definitely nothing special.

500ml bottle from Beercosm, Bristol. Deep gold in colour and hazy, with a tight, white, head.Aroma of sharp lemon upfront, with some ripe banana and spice following on behind. Fairly light mouth feel, with flavours of orange peel and slightly biscuity malts, before more bananas and cloves. Finish was quite short. Fine overall.

Pale gold with a frothy head of modest duration. Banana aroma, a bit creamy, with dough and clove accompaniment. Taste is almost sweet up front, like banana bread, then ends with a modest, mineral-like bitterness. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Serviceable.

- Schönes, elegant wenngleich sortentypisch mild gehopftes Weizenbier. (31.3.2021.)

Bottle from the Offie, Leicester. Dark gold, clear with a ring of white head. Light banana cream notes in the aroma with some sourdough. Taste is sweet with some spicy yeast character. Gentle bitterness in the short finish with a touch of astringency. Well-carbonated. Refreshing and a decent if muted Hefeweizen.
