Bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton. It pours murky amber with a massive off-white head. The nose is earthy, mouldy wood, wet leaf, tang, touch of sweetness and faint blue cheese. The taste is initially tart, sherbet, lemon, tart green apple, caramel, earth, light acidity, cheap white wine and spice with a dry, somewhat tart finish. Medium body and high, spritzy carbonation. I’m not a huge fan of the aroma, but it is rather tasty.

Bottle. Pours clear tea/amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops with notes of malt and dried fruit. Vinous onset, giving way to pronounced, hoppy notes with sweet touches of malt and fruit. Very interesting.

Bottle share courtesy of Adam Jackson. Chalice shows a brown dirty color. Brett and sour cherries on the nose. Funky oak, tart lemons, funky yeast notes. Serious level of lactic acid. Has a level of complexity at this point in its life. Lots of funky sour and tart notes. Palate gives a nice pucker factor in the back of the glands. Dry texture. Nice; damn nice.

750ML purchased at Harvest Fest last year in a big plastic 20 ounce Dodgers cup that glows in the dark
A - Amber, Michelob Ultra appearance, huge soft ice-cream like creamy head that fades to some very gorgeous lacing
S - Huge cherry tartness on the nose, big oak response, sort of a kumquat nose...tart juicy and bright.
T - Wow. Okay, tart, funky, some shoe-string and cherry. Nice peachiness, grape skin, some lactic acid and horsey brett L.
M - big pillow like mouth feel, medium body
O - seriously, great job Shaun...I’m not sure if I feel good about not opening this until June or if I should have opened it sooner.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London - picked up from the Bottle Shop. Pours lightly hazy amber with a huge, lasting white foam head. Nose has grass, some pee, a bit of tangy funk, saddle leathery, touches of citrus. Light sweet flavor, some moderate grassy bitterness, bits of leather, hints of ripe citrus, some funky sweat. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, good bretty funk, leather, farmhouse, some tangy tangerine, citrus rind. Lovely beer.

750ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Unspecific fruity, yeasty aroma. Taste is rather sourish, peach-like fruity notes, some yeast. Sourish notes are close to a Fruit Lambic.
