Seppur antica nel senso proprio del termine, questa birra è proiettata nel tempo oltre le mode e le stagioni. Morbida, vellutata e fragrante, conviviale e al tempo stesso meditativa, fa rivivere e rispettosamente celebra il classico bavarese.

Bottle. Color: Hazy ruby to amber, off-white head. Aroma: Wheat, yeasty hints. Taste: Smooth, wheat, yeast, notes of cloves. Sugary and caramel hints, banana hints, slightly earthy. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice smooth and creamy dunkelweizen. Nice complexity. Surprising for an Italian brewery to brew such a great Dunkelweizen beer. Very nice.

09.06.2018 -- 0.75l bottle from braufactum shelf at marktkauf, bb 21.11.2018. pours a murky brown chestnut with a big beige head. aroma of black cherry, banana, dates, chocolate, molasses, quite yeasty. flavour of yeast, cherries, nuts, caramel, roast. some tobacco in the aftertaste. would have been very good if it were 3 times cheaper, the price/performance ratio sucks really.

Pours dark, unclear wheat-lookin' brown. Small, but creamy white foam with much lacing. Smell Is wheat ,bit chocolate. Nit esthers (banana) taste is full, bit sharp, rather high carbo. Roasty/toasty , perhaps a tad too roasted for the style, but it's a nicte taste aspect nevertheless. Bit bitter. Nice creamy body.

Bottle. Cloudy red brown, golden foam. Clean roast, copper and rye bread aroma. Fullbodied, impressive broad chewy foamy body. Metallic grain, light berries, apple skin, light clementines with cloves in them, a bit banana, grassy hops dryness. Very complex, great!

Bottle. Hazy brown color with ruby highlight and a creamy beige head. Aroma is earthy, fresh yeast, some milkiness, caramel, just a touch of the typical banana flavours. Taste is dough, earthy, strawberries, caramel, som red apple, cloves. Full-bodied, silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite complex and subtle, a great Dunkelweizen (and rather untypical for a Bavarian palate). Decoction for president.
