US Pint can from Home Bargains. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a massive lasting, frothy white head and lots of champagne bubbles. The aroma is herbal, cucumber. The flavour is light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, herbal cucumber palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Like drinking cucumber water with alcohol!

Can from Home Bargains, Bridge of Don. It pours clear pale bright golden with a lively, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, green, cucumber, melon, greengage, aloe vera, custard creams, splash of American cream soda and grain. The taste is fairly firm and dry initially, then it's bitter - sweet, tangy, American cream soda, crunchy cucumber, melon, greengage, green veg, damp grass, toasty grain husk and a touch of cereal. Finish is crunchy grey veg. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A pretty novel combo. Actually works pretty well.

Can from Home Bargains, High Wycombe. Clear if slightly muted gold with a light fizz and a white head. Smells of cucumber, tastes if cucumber, sweetcorn and dust. Kind of like cucumber water mixed with cheap lager. But it kind of works. Sort of. Went well with fish at least, not sure how much I'd want on it's own.

Can from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma certainly had Cucumber, alongside a hint of citrus and malts. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Sour-bitter cucumber. Is there citrus or is that just the 'cumber? Sherbert. Underlying malts and a creaminess. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. It works.

473ml can: BB 28th October 2023, obtained from a local Home Bargains. Drank at home on 2nd August 2023, Clean golden body, white head. Cucumber aroma and taste, the name doesn't lie. Not a huge Cucumber fan to be honest, so it was a leap of faith to buy this, glad I did! Oh, it's my 102nd beer from New York.

16oz can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 23. Clear gold pour with a good white head. Big cucumber aroma, and taste doesn't hold back either with a very distinct, clear defined cucumber profile and light body. Although cucumber beers should be banished from the face of the earth, it achieves its intentions admirably, so reluctantly I have to mark this high.

Can from local Home Bargains store. Pours clear dull gold with a white cap. Big cucumber aroma, some grains too. Moderate sweet with lighter bitterness, clean, semi-dry, loads of cucumber, cream ale type notes too. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Well balanced. It won't be everyone's cup of tea but I quite like it.

16 ounce can. Medium gold pour. Frothy beige head. Spotty lacing. Big cucumber aroma. Flavor is biscuity malt with lots of cucumber flavor. Light and refreshing with herbal hops in the brief finish. Certainly different, a good summer beer one should try at least once.
