Our third Brut IPA takes yet another approach to the style. This time we've increased the hops and spun the beer on oak, with those tannins accentuating the dryness and offering roundness and depth to the flavour profile.

[33cl bottle from the Siren brewyard.] A hazy pale peachy amber with a thin white head; zesty grapefruit aroma; tart fresh grapefruit taste with an underlying sweetness. Very good indeed.

Tap at Way Outback, Southbourne. Fairly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citra, not in a dank way. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

Pours rather unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is rich, malty, full, dry. Taste is full, sharp, bitter, rather dry, grainy, intense. Much better than all the other brut IPA's I had before.

Keg at the beer hawk. A light hazed golden yellow straw coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is nice juicy fruit, midget gems, lemon, straw, bubble gum.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet rounded, wheat, bubble gum and some pithy cittus,. Hint of brett. Palate is light, airy carbonation,. Interesting beer. Juicy fruits and bubble gum.

Bottle at home, 15/12/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent white covering. Nose is sticky tropical fruits, sticky nelson hop like aroma, orange pith, melon, pineapple, straw, lemon curd. Taste comprises orange pith, pale malts, grains, tangerine, papaya, light grapefruit, hint of grapemust, soft breads, apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close splashed with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Solid IPA ... probably the best I've had from the Brut sub genre.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours only faintly hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lots of luscious tropical fruits in here, peach, melon, mango, tangerine, light bitterness, understated pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced finish, somewhat sweet, well and juicy, more mango and melon, papaya, peach, citrus. Subtly drying. Outstanding.
