Can from Joe's Wine and Liquor, Memphis. Aroma is coffee with dark malt, some roast, mocha, sweet cocoa, and caramel. Flavour is sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Coffee Sweet Stout, delivers as expected.

I just ordered a Reuben grilled cheese. No idea what that means but I am 100000% down.

Super deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall rich light brown and tanned head that leaves a small, but pretty ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of rich roasted malts, oatmeal, anise, molasses, caramelised sugar, light coffee beans and a good hit of dark chocolate - around 80 per cent cacao. Medium to Full-bodied; Super strong, rich, pungent oatmeal and deep malts come through here immediately with a great syrupy and smooth body that coats the mouth with a lot of cherry and lactose flavours as well, but the coffee and chocolate perhaps are even stronger and all seem to combine nicely with the noticeable oatmeal malts here. Aftertaste shows a lot of balance with a great sweetness from the anise, chocolate and caramelised sugars with a slight touch of pitted fruits, but the malt, lactose and creaminess helps out, especially in terms of complexity. Overall, a very nice and enjoyable true oatmeal stout without any gimmicks and only pungent, deep flavours that provide the complexity here with a lot of sweetness and rich flavours, but the nuances are great here with the cherries, coffee, lactose and earthiness all enjoyable throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 17-July-2020 for US$4,22 sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-November-2021.

0,473 boks delt på Mi2 Cardinal sep-20: brunsvart med ok skum. Mørk sjokoladekakke med røde bær, kaffe med en skvett Bailey oppi, litt marsipan og en appelsinskive. Yummy!

473 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Brewed and canned by Crider Brewing LLC. Black colour, large brown head. Aroma of roast malts, hints of mild coffee and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour, moderately sweet lactose notes, again notes of roast malts, mild coffee and chocolate, also oatmeal and moderate bittering hops.

Draft pour at Jackpot DC. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small white head. Maybe cola colored since this place is underground and pretty dark. Aroma was light coffee, roasted notes. Flavor was pleasant coffee, some creamy character here, which I really found quite nice and almost sessionable.
