Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer Merchants Tap, Hackney Wick. Pours clear yellow with a pure, frothy white head. Lightly effervescent. Moderately sweet, some white bread, corn pale biscuits, white sugar, minimal bitterness, a nip of straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, further biscuity pale malts, a little pale grain. Easy going beer. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright golden with a snow white head. Nose - corn, bread and green beans. Taste - lemon, caramel and bready. Some bitter salad lurking though. Palate - light bodied, fairly dry on the finish. Overall - decent example of the style.

Bottle from Hausmann Getränke. Golden straw, clear as a bell with a small head. Clean Helles nose with rounded earthy hops and grain notes. A little sweet inn the tongue for a nice full body. Pretty tasty export.

Rocky white head stayed on clear pale golden body. Sweet, malt & apricot aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth with a lively back. Sweet berries, peach, jam & sugary tastes with a nicely hopped finish. Good Drinker.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear very pale gold with a white head. The aroma is sweet, floral, grassy, slightly herbal, hay, straw, biscuit, lemon curd and custard creams. The taste is crisp, dry, some snappy bitterness, nice biscuit malt base, custard creams, straw, grass, peppery spice, white bread, herbal accents and dry florals with a drying finish.. average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Enjoyable stuff. Initially feels simple, but there are some nice subtleties to it. Quaffable.
