Gravity keg. Deep golden, slightly cloudy. Cold vanilla pear. Very soft, creamy. Chewy fluff. Some booze, but also a very soft bitterness. So much light and fluff.

Bayrischer Anstich im HopDog . Cloudy amber, offwhite cream. Medium full soft body, creamy body. Grassy, melon, citric notes, base keg had some vegetal notes, this is clean and balanced. Fruity drink & woodruff drinkability.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally strawy and starchy, pale malty aroma, light fruity hints of mirabelle, hoppy hints of green pear parings. Taste is mildly bitter, grassy, minimally herbal hoppy, minimally starchy, pale malty, subtle sweetness, light fruity hints of mirabelle, quince, pear; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, simultaneously minimally pungent, dry palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Very well crafted, mid-tier in respect of aroma and taste - doesn't tap the full potential.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before March 2021. Slightly hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Faint, sweetish-malty and a little floral aroma of honey, lemon peel and a touch of grass. Gently sweet, malty, slightly floral taste of honey, light butter, apricot, some lemon peel and hints of grass, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really pleasant, moreish Heller Bock, fairly quaffable and smooth with a delicate hoppy touch.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a faint haze and a white head. Grass, citrus and some hints of honey in the aroma. Smooth taste with mild carbonation and notes of grass, hay, lemon zest and herbal hops. It tastes like a souped-up version of their lagerbier and that by no means a bad thing. On the contrary! Smooth, easy to drink and a great heller bock which is traditional yet has as much flavour as you can get from this style without going over the top with the hops. There is a slight sweetness in the finish but blink and you'll miss it.

18-01-20 // 500ml bottle shared with the local crew. A lovely pale Bock!! Excellence. Pours unfiltered golden with a white head. Nose of cereal sweetish notes. Smacks cereal honey sweetness. So damn smoooooth.

Bottle. Golden color, hazy, with minuscule chunks of yeast. Malt and peach. Malty, but with a firm flowery and earthy hop character. Citrus and pineapple. Almost full bodied. Long hopbitter aftertaste. Great bock!

“Mönchsambacher Weihnachts-Bock“, Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Orangegelb, schwach trüb. - In der Nase breites helles, leicht toastiges Malz mit etwas Nuß und zarter Kellerluft, herbe Orange und Andeutungen von orangenschalig-krautiger Herbe. - Im Antrunk breite, tiefe Malzigkeit mit Karamel und Vanille, die von massiver, fast schon scharfer Hopfenherbe mit bitter-fruchtiger Orangenschale und Gras aufgefangen wird. Dahinter leichte Honigsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig aber nicht dick, von mineralischer Schwere. - Enorm tiefgründig-malziger, massiv fruchtig-herb hopfiger Bock. Paßt hervorragend zu Limburger Käse ;-)

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, malty, some phenols. Taste is fruity, boozy, malty, raisins. Oily mouthfeel. Quite an intense Bock, but a good one!
