Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is citrus juice, some hoppy bite, flour. Taste is very heavy phenolic sweetness, with much phenolic bitterness. A little spicy while swallowing. Very heavy and hard to drink. Too much actually for me.

Black Country Beano. Outbound train tasting! Thanks to Ian for this one. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Palate is softish and dry. Fine carbonation. Light creamy malt. Pinch of noble hop spice. That lovely German nuttyness abounds here. Finishes soft and creamy with touches of dried fruits and marmalade bitterness.
