Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours mostly clear yellow with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds dry biscuits, hay, cereal. Light sweet flavour, crisp, more cereal, low bitterness, straw. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, further crispy biscuits, cereal and hay. Nice, easy-drinking lager.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Slightly musty, grainy, strawy, malty aroma, a touch of silage and horse dung. Taste is way fresher, pale malty, minimally husky, hoppy overtones with mild bitterness and a lemon dash; rather watery throughout.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours pale yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, paper, cornbread, white sugar and cheap white bread. The taste is sweetish, grainy, white bread, soda water, grass, straw and paper with a dry finish. Light smbidy and moderate carbonation. A bit wishy-washy all in all. Very meh.

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts. Sweetish floralness. Little spice. Modest citrus. Clean smooth finish. Just one of those German beers that comes up clean and smooth and drinkable.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Light golden. Rubber aroma, taste is grainy, more rubber. Lager at its finest. Or not. Quite lame actually.
