It’s triple fruited but not as you know it! High Windows is a 6% Fruited Sour (not a gose) pumped full of organic Blackberry and Raspberry puree! Cocoa powder post boil + the use of milk sugar infuses a smooth, chocolate aroma. We then recirculated the beer through cacao nibs to enhance the chocolate profile and bring through a nutty chocolate praline finish along with a big dose of oats in the grist to provide a crunchy, oat flavour. Think black forest compote on a toasted oat base, cream on top and sprinkled with chocolate shavings.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 24. Thanks Mike for this. A fruit sour but not as I know it apparently. Has a dull red look in the glass. Juicy red berries coming to the fore. No chocolate whatsoever. Gentle sour. Fine but lacks depth and not exactly what is advertised. Marked down for this.

8th January 2024, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five guys and loads of beers! Cheers Mike for the 'out of date' 440ml can of this sour puss fruity brew. Red in colour, hazy with a weak white wisp on top. Tart red berries, someone forgot to add the cocoa powder and nips as there was no evidence of any chocolate in my portion.

North Brewing High Windows 6% Fruited Sour: Raspberry, blackberry & cacao Bright fruit punch red with no foam but a big tart berry aroma. Quite light bodied with a tart raspberry and cacao flavor. Tart berries dominate but the cacao really brings a chocolate raspberry milk flavor I the finish:

Good fruits but noch much of the cocoa powder left. Slightly past BBD but a good beer.

440ml can. Hazy reddy purple, white head. Aroma of blackberry and raspberry, subtle cocoa. Taste of tart berries, raspberry and blackberry, cocoa almost non existent, sour and tart. Medium body, smooth. This is actually really good, as good as their TFGs.
