26/6/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo at the Euro 2020(1) watchathon. Aroma of pink lady apples and funk. Soft, smooth, sweet long finish. Very good.

Lots of Yorkie piss was used in fertilizing these apples. Thanks to Shig for Sharing. Heavy pour by my sober hand. Clear, medium honey gold, sort of still. Oaky & seriously leathery, off-sweet nose. Thin, yeasty, very tannic, zero acid & tartness, mellow veggie sweetness. Low to no carb, subtle froth & protein body. Kinda okay+.

Bottle from Sandringham house shop. Unclear dark golden / amber coloured still body. Fruit drops, apple, pear & with a light funkiness & a sweet finish. Nice one.

Sample @ obscure lager tasting with Jeremy, to break up the monotony of bland African lagers. Pale gold appearance, juicy sweet apple fruit aroma. Fine carbonation. Taste bears a pleasant juicy character, sweet, flavoursome with characterful apple fruit, some distant caramel hints with mellow wild orchard moments. Pretty good.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of mucky barnyard funk. Taste is sweet, mellow apple, caramel, barnyard funk, mucky, with drying tannins. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry funky finish. Quite drinkable.

26/6/2021. Bottle bought at the Sandringham Estate gift shop. Pours slightly hazy pale orange with no head. Aroma is rich, juicy apple, brown sugar, apple candy, caramel, slight funky edge. Medium plus sweetness, very light bitterness. Moderate body, low carbonation. Sweet tangy fruit finish. Sweeter than expected but still enjoyed it.
