Tropical and bright with a full palate of flavor and a potency designed with moderation in mind, Jai Low IPA lowers the intensity of a typical India Pale Ale while maintaining the highest quality and hop flavor possible. All the qualities found in the finest IPAs, including citrus aromas and flavors, bread-like maltiness, and a moderate, snappy bitterness are found, making this beer a deceptively tempered addition to Cigar City Brewing’s line-up of hop-forward creations.

Rocky white head stayed on a an unclear amber coloured body. Bitter hopped up aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp cloying back. Pine, pithy, grapefruit & marmalade tastes with a long tangy finish. So tasty considering the ABV.

Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a medium white foamy head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hop, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short floral hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can from Beer Hop. It pours orangey - amber with a fluffy white head. The aroma is pithy, zesty, zingy orange, tangerine, oily, orange gummy bears, leafy and bready vibes. The taste is crisp, dry, some bitterness, pithy, zesty, bitter rind, tangerine, oily, sticky, resin, pine needles, slightly soapy, orange blossom and nip of spice with a drying finish. Light body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Decent enough low abv number.

Can from Gulating. Slightly unclear deep golden body under a big, foamy off-white head. Aroma has malt, toffee and some generic fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet malt, mild, smooth fruity hops and relatively bitter. Medium body and same aftertaste with a distinct bitter finish. A surprisingly well made and balanced beer considering the low ABV. Tasty and refreshing.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/03/21. Very lightly hazed orange amber with a well presented off white covering that stays for the show. Nose is light pine, grass, orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, toasted malts, melon, light pine nip, spruce, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced leafy hop bitterness. Decent enough session gear.
