Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 4. Pours deep brown with a creamy, light khaki head. Light sweet flavour with notes of burnt toast, subtle earth and cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Slight tangy dark fruits in the finish, more cocoa, earth, mellow ash. So so.

Cask at Babington Arms, Derby Pours a fairly dark reddish brown with a tight cream head. The nose is pleasant and malty. In the mouth it is sweet and malty with dark fruits. However, I agree with Fat Phil about the slightly sour aftertaste - but I think it adds to the flavour ! Finish is sweet and creamy. A simple beer but excellently done !
