Old rating - A 500ml bottle from my trip to West Sussex last autumn. Pours a bright yellow with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, grass, flora, hints of caramel & malt. Medium body, dry bitter finish. Very well-made APA, like it states on the label, not a bitter as listed here.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Have to reach for the low key citrus aroma. Light gold. Frothy bubbly head. Light bitter with a spicy edge. Light bodied. Thin with some slickness. Slightly chalky mouthfeel. Long slightly astringent finish. Decent enough and citrusy.

500ml bottle from 'Bitter Virtue' of Southampton; BB 2nd Jan 2019. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 9th Nov 2018, the second beer of a random tasting session with myself. Pale golden body, slight haze; wispy white head. Bitter taste with a light citrus leaning, mild malt content gives a little balance.

500ml bottle [as Brighton Belle American Pale Ale. Thanks Grumbo for that 'auld barge']. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, citrusy, hoppy aroma, somehow a scent oil potpourri with hints of orange, mandarine, grapefruit, gooseberry, yellow berries, petals, minimally biscuity, pale and caramel malty background. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, floral and minimally citrusy hoppy, diluted hints of orange, mandarine; quite watery, almost inexistent finish. Watery-oily texture, soft to flat carbonation, soft palate. A tad anaemic overall.
