This beer ferments and matures for 12 months in oak barrels with our indigenous yeasts. At the end of maturation, we add directly in barrels our Tai Rosso, Pinot Nero and Turchetta grapes we grow on Berici Hills. The maturation together with grapes continues for further 3 months.

Tap at La Tana. Big vineous vibes, tuned-in tannins, pleasant fruityness, fine acidity, touches of funk. I dig this.

Hazy purple red colour, small beige head. Aroma of tart red berries, grapes, brett. Taste of sour red grapes, red wine, berries, lactic fruits, brett.

7-3-8-4-16 Bottle, L0222, 2,5 years before bbd. Pours dirty reddish, with a small creamy head. Aroma is tart fruity notes of plums, currants and bretty apples, as well as wine grapes, wooden barrels and floral minerals. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes of berries, wine grapes, sour plums, funky lemon peel and floral brett, as well as farmhouse notes, tannins and wooden barrels. Semi dry finish.

Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear, pale reddish orange body under a small white head. Refreshing acidic fruity aroma, grapes, berries, mild wood and a funky touch. Taste is medium acidic fruity, lemon, red berries, grapes, mild wood, slightly funky, almost a bit nature wine’ish. Balanced in taste, refreshing, balanced body, nice aftertaste. God companion with food. Nice one

On tap @Barley Wine (Rome). Rubino sangue di piccione, mediamente torbida, schiuma leggerissima, virtualmente assente. Al naso delicate note vinose e di frutta rossa, botte. In bocca è acida, vinosa, sembra un vino naturale, frutta rossa, legno, nota citrica estremamente contenuta, bilanciatissima, molto pulita e di eccellente beva. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione leggera. Buonissima!

Dark orange body, with a small, yellowish head. Aroma with lots of cheesy funk, moderate vinous notes, wood. Tastes less funky, very dry, with a bit more grapes. Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes very dry, vinous, wooden, quite acidic, with subtle grapes. Slightly unbalanced, tastes too dry for me, with the fruits quite in the background. The nose is really lovely though, with lots of rustic funk. Score: 8 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 15
