Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Golden with a creamy head. Its said green pepper in its notes is vey evident, less so its fruit, but it’s a good session brew.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 29 October 2021. Deep golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Leafy hops, some red berry and tangerine fruit character, ripe rich tea malts leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. Lemon and citrus to the fore in the aroma with hints of pepper. In the mouth it is sweet with citrus, but there’s an underlying slight spicyness too. Finish is lightly bitter. Quite nice, but unexciting.

Pours a clear golden colour with an average sized foamy near white head that settled. The aroma is fruity and light sweet malt, lime, papaya and lemon. A moderately sweet taste, sweet pale malts, citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a moderate dry hop bitterness.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head; citrus aroma; grapefruit taste with a pithy bitterness; and a clean finish. Rather good.
