Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Barnyard, fruit and bitterness in flavour and aroma. Flavour also has some berries in it. Quite pleasant bitter. Long good hoppy finish.

Cask at GBBF 2005 Weird hop nose on this golden brown beer. I was looking forward to trying these beers but this was a bit too sweet and not my favourite beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Amber golden, slightly hazy with a tiny, creamy head. Really lives up to it’s name, this is very bitter. But a fleeting bitterness that doesn’t linger long in the palate. Very refreshing. 210505

A clear amber beer until the yeast is poured, then it turns unclear, with a small off-white head. The aroma is lovely sweet with notes of hops, malt, caramel, and peach. The flavor is very well hopped, both with aroma hops and bitter hops. The flavor also contains notes of caramel and grass before a dry end sets in. The only drawback in this beer, is that the body is a little thin.

Copper colour. Clear. Slightly caramelly, marmaladey aroma. Moderate woody bitterness with some very sweet honeyish malts. Almost candyish at times. Bitter, earthy finish. Strange beer.

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich head. Flowery and aromatic - the East Kent Goldings dominate up front. Laid back, clean and firm. The finish is orangey and bitter. Technically perfect, but still there is something separating this beer from true greatness. Malt depth? I would love to sample this beer from cask.

(500 ml bottle). Amber colour, good head. Very nice barnyard aroma. Typical English bitter flavour (Goldings hops + a hint of toffee) , a bit thin mouthfeel, good bitterness in the aftertaste. A great quaffing beer. This Norwegian micro is a very welcome addition to our rather miserable brewery scene!
