Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours dark red with beige head. Bit caramel malty, some fruity notes, bitterish. Surprisingly bland. Watery. Light to medium bodied. Looking at the other rates seems something went wrong here.

Draft. A deep red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Murky brown color with tan head. Citrus candy in the aroma, a bit malty. Taste is the same. Lacks a lot of character.

8/II/16 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 5/IX/16 (2016-140) Thanks to Bene for sharing the bottle!

Clear purple brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very hoppy, fruity, citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, bitter hops, some strawberry jam, bit malty. Aftertaste: very hoppy, fruity, grapefruit, citrus, bit resinous, strawberry jam. Tastes more like a light barley wine, but hey, it's a very nice beer!

Pours red brown from the bottle with a nice creamy beige crown that linger. Optically this could not be better. A very odoriferous citrus bouquet greets the nose: orange peel, mango, and lots and lots of grapefruit. The first sips reminded me of grapefruit as well, tart and sour, and there is a dry bitterness that is leavened in the end by just enough malts to balance out the floral piquancy. A very interesting take on a brown ale and not at all what I was expecting. The palate is thinnish and may trend faintly watery if you drink this one too cold, but the nose will remind you this is definitely not water. The finish is dry, with a tangy citrus bitterness that lingers pleasantly. All in all well done. Edited and revised from 3.7 to 3.9 Further edit and revision. I keep coming back to this nice brew. 3.9 to 4.0
