21 April 2025. Bottle from Geers. Bottled: 13/4/2021. Barrels 1213, 1216, 1218. Shared with Anke, Jolien & Didier! Hazy golden, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of oak, fermenting plum, apricot, grape, vinegar, lime zest, cheese. Taste has sour apricot, gooseberry, citrus flesh and grape in a funky vinegar and sourdough body, slightly herbal too. Very tart, mouth-puckering finish of woody tannins, citric acid, stone fruit pit and grape skin. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. Quite intense. Lovely.

Pours fairly clear blonde. Scent is mild , some wood, traces of funk. Taste is full, sharp, dry, elegant, woody notes. Not getting much raisins from the amarone. Lovely nevertheless.

Small but stable white rim, lacey, over orangey golden beer. Wild yeasts, malt- and fruitsugars, sweet peaches, prunes, liqueur. Tastes a bit more sour than the nose suggested. Some fruit, peach-y, but with a (rest)sugarload lurking beneath. Feels well-carbonated. Sharp acidburn and -thinning. Slick. Nice. Some beers tend to grow on you, this one gets more and more agressive.

13/XI/21 - sample from 75cl bottle @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 (Waagnatie, Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1366) Thanks to the Brewver crew and other beer buddies for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange beer, no head. Aroma: horse blanket, pretty funky, barnyard, dirty, sweaty feet, cheesy, lots of brett character here. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty touch, pretty sourish, acidic, bitter as well, floral, some tannins, wood notes. Aftertaste: dry, floral, pretty oxidized, bit soapy, herbal some tannins, dry finish, decent but not great.
