Pushing the boundaries of barrel-aged stouts is in our DNA, and with that, we brought to life our first-ever cola-inspired variant. Brewers Paul Cade and Jason Krasowski bonded over their love for a classic cola while creating the Classic Cola Stout. Combining the refreshing nature of classic cola and picking up the flavor profile from a whisky cola, we added lime and orange juice and zest, plus coriander, cassia bark, nutmeg, brown sugar, and vanilla to bring out the complex characters of the classic drink. This is the ultimate twist on a whiskey cola and a must-try for Bourbon County Stout, cola, or whiskey/cola lovers.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey. A thick dark cola brown coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, brown sugars, spicy rye, bourbon, caramel. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky toffee, brown sugars, layered, Warming alcohol, bourbon, chocolate,. Palate is medium sweet, velvety. Really nice.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts. Smooth but obvious cinnamon, just a modest cola vibe. Quite a spicy finish. Amusing but lacks the normal BCBS richness.

Draft. A- Mocha. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Mocha, chocolate pudding, mild booze. P- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Don't get a cola flavor well, maybe a smidge of a rootbeer flavor but it's very minimal. Lots of chocolate cream. Pretty awesome despite the anticipated flavor profile.

Bottle, 2022 edition. Pours opaque very dark brown with a small foamy chocolate-colored head, spicy mocha aroma, low carbonation, initially sweet bitter mocha taste, woodsy flavor, spicy background with alcohol undertones, smooth somewhat thick body, long woodsy finish. Fulfilling.

I was real curious for this! How can a bourbon county beer not be tasty, and a weird one here. Positives first, it is tasty. Negative, no cola. Maybe a touch of murican style high fructose syrup and quite something limey. Bourbon, some roast. Tasty.

500ml bottle pours out cola brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is bourbon barrel notes and some sweet cola notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet cola notes and normal bourbon County kick.

2021 poured into a tulip glass. Pours brownish-black with light brown head that fades to a collar. Aroma really brings out cola in an overt manner. Moderate brown sugar. Flavor is more balanced with cola and brown sugar. Whiskey throughout and alcohol really shows as it warmed. Not as great as the rest of the BCBS family, and still nice.
