12 oz bottle in a blind tasting thanks to tfontana. Clearly brewed in 2022 via neck stamp. Aroma is oak and mild whiskey. The backbone of the flavor is some light roasted malt, weak vanilla with oak and the bourbon or whiskey showing mildly in the finish. Alcohol is somewhat hidden. Slightly warming after the sip.

Bottle (2022, a bunch of numbers at the bottom that are hard to decipher) pour from Lighthouse Liquors. Opaque black with nice viscosity, ring of head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy malts, oak, bourbon. Taste is strong whisky/bourbon, oak, roasted malt. Smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A bit sweet. Good oaky character.

12 oz bottle. Pours an opaque black with a tan head. Boozy brown sugar, bourbon, cocoa in the aroma. Flavor has cocoa and bourbon, roasty coffee, vanilla, with molasses and dark fruit, and some hop bitterness coming through as well. Delicious.

2022 vintage. Dark brown body, with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma of soy sauce, bourbon barrel, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, booze, some dark berries. Tastes quite similar, with less so sauce, a bit sweeter. Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes roasty, warm, with soy sauce, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, subtle booze. Quite old-school BBA Imperial Stout, with well integrated barrel, not too boozy. Not outstanding maybe, but a pleasant sipper. Score: 7 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

12oz bottle. This one nails it. Classic fudgy oak, chocolate, bourbon candy notes. Great balance for the style, certainly an improvement on the base beer. Perhaps it is the hop tone that really fills it out. Checks all the boxes. Really good.

From 0,355l bottle at home. Vintage 2022. Black color, small white head. smells sherry, oxidation, Soy sauce, dried fruits. Decent to nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes bitter chocolate, some sweetness, spices, cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, nutty. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of bourbon, vanilla and nutty notes. Nice one, good on the taste, smell tasted rather old, overall nice

Bottle split at the Philly apartment, thanks to Foigus, 18/04/23. Black with a tan khaki covering. Nose is dark malts, bourbon, spice, molasses, fruit cake mix, raisins. Taste comprises rich roast, spice, molasses, bourbon, fruit cake mix, dates, tangy dried fruit esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent enough impy stout if a little tangy.

Bottle shared at Philadelphia flat. From early bird. A jet black brown coloured pour with a mid tan heas. Aroma is semi sweet, big bourbon vanilla, vinous jammy fruit. Brown sugars, cocon. Flavour is composed of vanilla, vinous fruits white grape, vanilla, sauettes, white port. Vanilla. Woody bourbon. Vinous fruits. Tannin. Nice lingering raisin. Sweet. Good.
