Bottle split at Craft Beer Junction, thanks to LKS 18/10/23. Hazed amber topped with a decent off white swirl. Nose is earthy, dusty fruits, grains, light oxidisation, caramel, herb. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, herb, spice, fruit cake mix, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay if aged a touch too long (as usual).

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to LKS. A light haze on this dirtyish gold beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Typical tripel malts, vaguely wheaty. Ripe fruits on the back end into some floralness and soft esters. Decent.

Nice rich golden and copper body with a nice three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, yeast, honey, coriander seed and a bunch of curacao and full oranges. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malty flavour with a lot of yeast and sweetness, some subtle spices and a good citrus flavour. Aftertaste shows some grain, a little alcohol warmth, a lot of malt and even more sugars from honey and apricots - very nice and pungent. Overall, a really good tripel from America with some nice sweetness, light spices, smooth complexity and solid profile. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-July-2015 for US$6,02 sampled at home in Washington on the 4th of July 2016 in celebration of Independence Day, watching the fireworks over this fine city.
