Bottle at Winston Fest. Deep clear mahogany copper color. Small beige head. Cardamon, caramel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Spicey and caramelly flavor with some alcohol in the flavor. Not my favourite Thornbridge.

Flott skum.

Very dark ebony. Small brown head. Marsh, wood and smoke in aroma. Bitterness, dark malt and blackberries in taste. Rather carbonated. Surprisingly drinkable. Decent bitterness in aftertaste.

A beautiful, dark reddish brown beer, a head is big, clouding and beige. The aroma is very unique and fashinating, heather, toffee, exotic spices, perfume, wet wood. The aroma is weird, but good and interesting. A complex taste of toffee, spices, some tar and dry wood, hint of smoke and peat, quite dry. Smooth, medium+ bodied, enjoyable to drink. Strongly complicated but the focus is slightly missing. Still quite charming.

500 ml bottle, as Thornbridge Hall Whisky Barrel Aged Double Scotch Ale, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%, brewed 2014. Mahogany colour, huge and lasting beige head. Aroma of woodwork, hints of whisky, smoke and cold coffee. Malty flavour, medium sweet, notes of oak / whisky cask, hints of smoke, noticeable hops in the finish.

Almost clear deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. A lightly sour beer! A mild bretty - cherry - medicinal note. Mild Coca Cola. Light malt cream. Just a whisper of whiskey in the light finish. Curious but tasty!
