Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear greenish - straw yellow with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright green fruits, pear with honey, golden delicious apple, greengage, melon, crunchy fruits, white wine, lemon - lime, barnyard and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, crunchy, touch of pucker, lovely green fruit character, pear, white grape, greengage, slightly unripe melon, lime sherbet, gewürztraminer, hay, dull tannin and some funk in the backdrop. Finish is dryish and woody. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Comes together very well. Very moreish.

Bottle from the Courtyard Dairy as part of their virtual cheese and cider (or in this instance, perry!) tasting. Pale yellow with a light fizz. Vinegary up front, then lots of leather, tannins and a big kick of spice. Some baked apple sweetness in the middle before Conference pear skin and a drying finish. Very complex and interesting; in a blind taste I'd have guessed it was a cider than a perry though. It's undoubtedly a high quality brew, but I personally didn't enjoy it quite as much as I hoped I might. It was still pretty good though.

Bottle enjoyed at Knights Tower 07.07.22. Pale straw colour. Superbly complex aroma and taste of pear peel, tannins, leather, sulphur and farmyard. Decent bitterness in aftertaste. Dry and very drinkable. More of these kinds of perries, please!

Clear 330ml bottle, shared with my son Ben on 3rd July 2022. Decent enough Perry, more like a cider to me though.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours well clear, super pale yellow with a bubbly white head that fades down quickly. Engaging aroma, bright ripe pear, mellow funk. Medium sweet flavour with a hint of acidity, juicy semi-ripe pear, modest funk, very slight dryness. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish, more bright pear, golden delicious, background funk. Highly drinkable gear.

Clear pale blond like a white wine. Aroma has soft orchard fruit and peachy notes. Tastes dry, perfumed. Nice balance of sweet and dry.

330ml bottle from Fine Cider Co. Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived thin bubbly white foam head and aroma of perry, acetic funk. Taste is sweetish and tart, tangy, perry pear, fruity, with funk and tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Clear pale golden body. Low carbonation. Aroma of cooking apple and vinegar. Flavour of underripe pear and bitter lemon. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. A touch too sharp for me to love it. A bit of a slow sipper.

Bottle at home, shared with Sharon on the Courtyard Dairy tutored cheese and cider tasting with Andy and Tom Oliver, 05/04/21. Pale light golden yellow with a decent white cap that soon dissipates. Nose is funky pear, tannins, hay bale, orchard wood. Taste comprises bitter sweet pear, grass, residual sugars, pulped pear, modest acidic tingle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. More world class pear jus from TO.
