One juice was pressed, then split into 5 and fermented by 5 different cider makers; hence one juice has created 5 ciders. It's a fascinating study in terroir, being all of the same origin, but allowing each makers approach to shape the fermentation & the cider that results! How are they similar, how are they different? Taste for yourself how much things vary!!…

Bottle set from Pilton. It pours cloudy clear orangey copper with a few bubbles on too. The aroma has a good amount of sweetness, juicy, oily, sugary, candy, appletizer, dried apple, powdery, dried apple, apple tango and leafy vibes. The taste is intially soft, rather sweet (a lot more so than other versions), sticky, juicy, oily, some dryness creeps in, light tannin, toffee apple, apple pie, touch of wood and white sugars with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sweeter for sure, maybe to much. Enjoyable anyhow.

750ml bottle from Fine Cider Co. Clear golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, caramel hint. Taste is sweet, juicy, apple, fruity, toffee & caramel notes, with some bittersweet tannins and hints of strawberry. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Nicely balanced, very drinkable.
