Tap at Staropramen brewery visit. Lots of coriander, which makes it nice. No off notes noticeable. Rather sweet and simple, but works.

I remember drinking the original version of this on my first visit to Prague at the start of this century for about 30 pence a pint. This version I believe is supposed to be an example of a wheat, if it is it's a light example. Clearly unfiltered it's drinkable but not much else good to say really.

0.5 l bottle. Pours a nice, hazy golden (peach) color with dissapeearing head. Fruits and wheats in aroma but the taste is not as significant as foreshadowed. Bitter with hints of fruits. Long, bitter finishing. Drinkable.

Bottle from the lager section of Asda. Semi hazy gold with small white head. Aroma has modest sweet wheat malt with a floral and spice noted hop. Taste of wheat, brown bread, dust, sweet flora, light herbs. Modest bitterness. Near medium bodied, moderate to fine carbonation. I think your average English lager drinker will find this too 'muddy' in taste for their liking as its not clean and crisp like a Pils. Much more flavoursome than the standard Staropramen though.

On keg at Brewhemia. Appearance - golden and clear with a thin white head. Nose - corn and bread. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied, a bit sweet. Overall - so so. Could be a bit drier on the finish.
