This version of Florence, our Belgian-inspred Farmstead® ale, was aged for many months in our puncheons—not quite Florence, not quite Flora, but magical all the same. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor; bottled May 2017, 2 years old
Cloudy dark blond colour. Not a Saison, this is a straight out Sour, it's actually very aggressive, it has different layers of character (sour apricot, wood). But ultimately this is clearly not worth the price.

750ml (thx, Mathieu P.!) shared at Josh's and Sunshine's rooftop. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: barrel, lots of stone fruits (apricots, peaches), a bit sour. Taste: along the same line, a bit overacidic, but not that much of stone fruits. Overall: good.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright stone fruits upfront, followed by oak, and some wild yeast. Flavour is semi-tart, with mandarin oranges, stone fruit, tart citrus, some wild yeast, and oak. Wild and tart, with a very fruity, oaky finish. Great stuff, a slight improvement on Florence.

Bottle shared in Hackney - sourced via trade. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Beautiful overall, tart and flinty, some lemony acidity, a little straw, salt. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Fairly tart and citric, more quenching dryness, refreshing acidity. Gorgeous beer.

Bottle big thanks to LKS. It pours lightly hazy bright golden with a tiny white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, zingy, white grape, gooseberry, lactic, granny smith apple, hay, oak and tang. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, puckering, zingy lemon, citric acidity, limey action, a hint of pickled onion monster munch, lactic and kiwi fruit with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Very nice.
