Bottle picked up at a great Getränkemarkt in Mühldorf am Inn and consumed at home Wednesday 20th April 2022 listening to Tom Ravenscroft sitting in for Marc Riley on 6 Music, cooking a Thai Chicken Curry. Pours chestnut brown with a dirty off white head. Taste is a little of ash, a touch of burnt toast, cocoa cola, roasted malt, some sweeteness, but simple and decent.

Malziger, wenig rauchiger Beginn. Geringe Herbe, Röstnoten, hohe Süffigkeit. Mittellanger Abgang, schwacher Hintergrund. Nett. 7/9/8/8/9/8

Dark brown with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of burnt chocolate and coffee grounds. Taste is moderate bitter with a strongly roasted flavor. Faint, lingering sweetness. Medium-bodied with a mildly watery texture. Not bad.

Bottle. Dark claret to chestnut brown, low tanned head. Juicy/berrylike caramel roast aroma. Medium body, light sparkly. Dry roast in frunt, chewy berry malt, melanoidin, cherry and smoke retronasal. Pleasant, easy drink.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of mild roasted dark malt, melasse, bread. Taste of roasted malt, red malt, melasse, nuts, bread. Moderate bitterness.

330 ml bottle. Pitch black, small creamy head. Toasted malt, toffee, lemon zest, licorice. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness, marzipan. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter toasty finish. An alright Stout!
