21/8/2020. Mini bottle courtesy of the SHIG. Pours clear very pale gold with no head. Aroma of honey, root spices, medicine and fruit. Moderate sweetness with light bitterness and tartness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, flat carbonation. Dry, warming, with a touch of spice to finish. Quite okay.

Bottle from the meadery. Clear copper-gold. Syrupy mouthfeel. Extremely sweet, the cinnamon and cloves are way too heavy giving a cough mixture impression. Cloying and unpleasant, a big disappointment after the black beer and honey version.

At the discover mead event at beerlovers bar. Pours a very light yellow. Smell has booze, some cinnamon notes , very distant apple features. Taste is sweet , sharp, apples, bit 'chemical' in a way though' ends a tad dry. Ok.
