330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with minimaly late awakening, small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Roasty, dark malty and slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of coffee, a touch of coffee surrogate, chicory, hints of maple syrup, weak, yeasty fruity overtones with a touch of blueberry. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, slightly roasty, dark malty, minimally yeasty fruity, notes of maple syrup, some honey, caramel, treacle, a touch of blueberry, weak roasty undertones with a touch of coffee, coffee surrogate.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth, soft and slightly cloying palate, medium, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Quite sweet but tastily so, liquid pancake in a way - like it.

Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Smells like instant hot chocolate powder and ashtray with mild pancake house underneath. Taste is moderate sugary sweet with a dose of coffee ground bitterness and dark chocolate at the finish. Medium to full-bodied, mildish carbonation. Gimmicky. Ok.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a big tan head. Aroma of sweet and dark roasted malt, liquorice, melasse, wood. Taste of intense sweet dark malt, maple syrup, liquorce, caramel, hints of smoke. Sweet sticky finish.

Bottle. Black, brown cream. Light metallic coffeeground, smoke, roast nose, slightly funky herbal spicy notes. Medium full body, sticky, quite sweet, sirupy on the palate, Some spiciness, coriander seeds, cardemom, coffee, smoke, burnt notes, lightly smothered with sugar/maple sirup. Way too much diabeetus.

0.33 l bottle from 'Vormann Brauerei', best before November 2023. Black with a large, foamy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, bacon, coffee and toasted nuts. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, lots of maple syrup, coffee, toasted nuts, some licorice and a touch of bacon, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Impressively deep and intense stout at only 7% abv, quite thick and syrupy, lovely.
