MBBC. Hazy orange with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, barnyard and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 100519

Sample @ MBCC 2019. Small head. Color is hazy pink. Aroma and taste are fruits, lactose acid, malt and hips. Nice sour finish.

25 March 2019. At In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Shared with the lovely Anke! As 'Oud Beersel Rozenlambiek' - apparently based on the Oud Beersel Rozenblaadjes made for user kraddel's 10K. Pours clear pale orange, no head. 'Garden-like' aroma of rosemary, thyme, flowers, rose petals, herbs, white pepper, wood, leather, unripe orange. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of orange, flowers, red apple even; revolving around a medium funky sour core with yeast, hay, lactic acid, supplemented by bitter tones of pepper, wood & herbs (rose stem & prickle). Dryish, tart, herbal, bit peppery hoppy finish, more flowers & herbs. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Perhaps a tad too herbal, subduing most of the lactic sourness, but well-made.

Box into a snifter showing deep gold with no head. The nose shows moderately intense notes of rose petals and light brett. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with light floral notes of roses and clean steel tank. Very close to a kettle sour.

Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18. Fairly hazy amber with no head. Aroma of cheesy funk, malty notes, light citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above light south.
